I co-produced Laura Shaeffer's Southside Hub of Production three week artist camp. As Mather, I engaged child and adult artists through Skype sessions, mail art, interactive workshops, and a surprise parade with The Kenwood Academy Marching Band.
The camp took place in public parks, the Hyde Park Art Center, and Laura Shaeffer's home studio. The theme of the camp was We are wild/We are domesticated, exploring the spectrum of human wildness to domesticity, testing boundaries of order, comfort, and rights and responsibilities. Projects included tent and fort building, shadow theater, selling artwork in public and costume making.
